THE CIDER SEASON IS HERE

Finally, the day to start tasting the new cider has come! At the Gurutzeta Cider House we open the doors today, that Astigarraga has left the red zone. We have everything ready for you to enjoy your cider experience in a safer and more pleasant way than ever, without neglecting the close treatment and family atmosphere.

This year we offer service from Tuesday to Sunday, for meals, from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm. But, with prior reservation, you can enjoy a guided tour, including hamaiketako (pintxos), for 15 euros.

In addition to this, we will offer the traditional menu of always: chorizo ??boiled in cider, cod omelette, fried cod with peppers, txuleta, and dessert consisting of walnuts, Idiazabal cheese and quince. In addition, on request, cod in sauce or monkfish can be ordered. On the other hand, there will also be a reduced menu of 24 euros, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

And of course, cider will have the prominence it deserves. For each table, four people can join, and they must remain seated, without making txotx. But the tradition will continue, and quality ciders from different kupelas (barrels) can be tasted, both Gorenak and D.O. Euskal Sagardoa, thanks to the transparent jugs and bottles that will be provided on the tables. We will offer detailed information on each cider, to be able to enjoy the cider tasting with the care.

On the other hand, now that meeting with diners from another table is impossible, we want make possible to you continueing sharing the sensations when tasting the different ciders, through a small online contest. Among those who participate, free meals for two will be raffled every two weeks.
