The second fortnight has passed since we started this special season of txotx at the Gurutzeta ciderhouse, and the ciders stored in the barrels are improving, little by little. In the first fortnight, it was the new cider from barrel number 8 that most liked the customers, but this time, the winner was the cider from number 23.
Since this ciderhouse season is special, at the Gurutzeta ciderhouse we have launched a new way of making txotx; without leaving the table, but you can still taste the new ciders stored in the barrels, through the transparent bottles and jugs that we take out to the tables. In addition, we include in the tables information about the characteristics of the ciders of each barrel, and customers and cider lovers have the option of tasting the different ciders and voting for the one they liked the most through our special online contest. We've already notified the winner of a free meal for two with the good news again.
Previously, it was the cider from the barrel number 8 that won, but this time, the number 23 cider took the lead, closely followed by the Euskal Sagardoa Certificate of Origin cider from the barrel number 12, and the barrels 26 and 21. This time, the number 8 cider has lagged behind the latter. So what has changed, the customer's taste or the cider?
Come to the Gurutzeta ciderhouse, and see for yourself! Remember that you can also buy Gurutzeta cider throughout the year, visiting us or in our online store. Enjoy!
